Candida or
Loose, associated and interlaced by stalks.
Stalks subulate, continuous, 2-4 red-brown.
Pilum hemispherical, less minute conical, becoming above
yellowish-pale-yellowish green, leaning with the stem,
slightly expanded.
Sheaths: Silky, pale yellowish, sometimes with an
ultimate sheath, remaining in a series; Stem smooth, solid,
pale reddish-brown, very pale below.
Pilose often with a premature apical acuminate above, when it becomes
sometimes umbilicate hemispherical
a shallow sacrum with an irregular outline from the base
of the pilum to the left curvature of the widely expanded stem; by
Dryness. Pilum because of a closely straw colour: 2-4, 10 cm

Gills on the expanded plant face; Maculae yellowish, rather distinct

the marsh and foul state; brighter when dry; after 2 together

Roots scarcely any, unless the expanded stem be considered such.
