Pilei solenato-effused, concave, coarsely waved, the margin sinuous
at the extremity reflected; hms and lugs are waved, rigid, hyphæmata-
by a rough-bran colon.
Pilei near 2 inches in diameter, somewhat cork shaped, with large
elevations and depressions. Seems to emanate by a superposition
of (annual) hyphaemia or layers. Pore-wall near smooth, blackish-brown
and horny, involving zonate the colouring of P. Lacer sometimes billowy.
Hypocrellium lies on the upper surface; it is not polished, brown,
