Agaricus plantation., Binkenr., 20 Sept. 1839 Pileus campanulato, involutate, brown, leicineus and slate, when dry, margin incurvata, irregularis. Gills adnata with. a claw, concolorous. Sporulae brownish. Stem elongatid involutate, fibrillaris, brown, leicineus, splitting capitis: diually. Pileus about 1 inch in diameter; the young much involute, leicineus; having but little flesh. Gills 4 in a set, before at their juncture with the pileus, leaving a hollow ring around the summit of it. Stem 2-4 inches high, rather thick; Stem as of wood. The Pileus seems to retain its campanulato shape in old age.
