Agaricus growing on leaves of Pinus sylvestris and a small thicket, Plantations, Dumbarton 25 Sept. 1839. Minute, scattered or single. Stipe, hemispherical, broadly funnelled, white, margin involute. Gills few, white, adnate; Spores pale. Stipe darker, dark brown, whitish at base. Pleurocystidia 10 to 20 thick broad or high, more white, having 4 to 5 projecting like corresponding to the number and direction of the gills. Gills white, broad, 4 to 5 with sometimes a small intermedial one. Stipe sometimes more than 1 inch high; very slender, blackish near base, white at base. Odour not perceptible
