2001 2002 2003 HAYDOCK MELANERPEs FURMlCIVORUS. BACKEYE HASTINGS 22 MAY 11:20 - Arrive to attempt capture on unbanded bird. 13:30 - No bird ever arrived. I reset the Ambush moved the blind back about 4m and left at 14:00. I heard the nestlings when I climbed the tree to check the ambusher. 24 MAY 5:45 - Arrive to attempt capture of unbanded again - Not successful - Banded 4 young. - 3432-3435 Plenty of acorns remaining. 2002 11 July 6:30 - Checked for evidence of nesting (second nest) - No birds seen. Plenty of acorns remaining. 2003 19 MAY 10:13 - Checked for nest - No birds seen in a cavity. 10:40 - Heard birds towards Buckeye annex side to granary and in granary. Saw Orange (with yellow)? ? / ? 31 July 9:00 - Check for nest. No birds seen. Plenty of acorns remaining.
