98 HAYDOCK 99 2000 2002 ROAD 3 HNHR MAY 7 14:30- checked nest-5 healthy babies. Set ambush for catching unbandd birds. MAY Caught unbandd breeder. 1999 28 June 4:55- Caught 4 unbandd juvies from missed nest of this year. Acorns remaining. 2000 7 April 11:50- Lower granary (NW side of territory) has same acorns, but not a lot (20% of holes with acorns). Saw one bird in same tree. No evidence of a nest. 22 June 9:58- Walt checked nest hole of 1st nest for 2nd nest. Found empty cavity (bird was in hole) Also placed tag #1118 at nest hole. (New hole for this year) 2002 20 June 15:30- 16:30- Observed for evidence of necting behavior. No birds seen or heard. I Watched from South facing hillside above granary. No acorn stores that I could find.
