23 June 17.00 - Banded 4 nestlings. Plenty of acorns
remaining

3 April 13:40 - Several birds seen in/near traditional
rest tree. Lots of acorns remaining. Set
ambusher.

8 July 14:30 - Checked nest for hatching (2nd nest
year in tree above traditional roost tree). 3 babies
~1 day old; 1 egg piped; 2 unhatched, but
apparently good eggs.
2002
12 July - 5:50 - Checked for evidence of nesting.
Nothing seen suggesting a nest. Several birds
seen/heard. Plenty of acorns remaining in
granary.
