2001 HARDock MELANERPEDS FORMICIVORUS CVI HASTINGS 29 MAY 12:00 - checked nest in sycamore (high hile with opening on front and back). Bird in hole when I arrived. 5 eggs - each with some bird feces on outside - unclear if they are alive. Possible that these eggs were abandoned and a bird is now incubating* eggs again.* However eggs were fairly cold- older than expected given time bird was out of cavity. 7JUNE 10:45 - Checked nest for hatching. - Only lyoung bird + 3 unhatched eggs. Baby is 4-5 days old.
