10:30 - Walt checked nest hole from last year.
Bird left hole as we approached with the ladder.
Finds 5 eggs; fairly fresh ① 24.1 x 18.7
② 25.0 x 20.0, Walt took one egg for
analysis.
27 MAY
14:30 - Banded 3 healthy nestlings with
Walt. # 2990-2992. Some acorns
remaining.
20 JUNE
14:00 - Checked for 2nd nest - No bird seen in
hole.
30 Oct
12:00 - Perhaps a few good acorns, but basically
only shells remaining
8 Nov
14:10 - Holes in west tree all have acorns; Grenay
tree about 1/3 full.
