HAYDOCK 99 2000 MELANERPEs FORMICIVORUS ARNOLD SHWARTZ HNHR 22 Apr 13:40 - lots of acorns; no birds seen. 15 MAY 14:25 - No birds seen. 11 JUNE 14:00 - No birds seen. 21 JUNE 14:20 - Still no sign of a nest. 3 Oct 12:00 - A few old acorns remaining 6 NOV 13:50 - Granary about half full. 1999 24 April 10:25 - A few acorns; no evidence of a nest. 29 April 10:30 - No evidence of a nest. Found some holes that I did not know about in tree to SE of pond - (some look like they would be ok for a nest) - Also heard birds in this area. Saw NOBA in granary tree 30 June 7:30 - Still no evidence of a nest. No acorns remaining in granary 2000 30 March 15:15 - Heard several birds while I was in the Keep out territory. Could have been ARSCU, or possibly Lambat. No acorns in main granary. Also checked other small granaries in territory and found no acorns. 3 April 8:50 - Power struggle - Probably a result of CAMPER Vacancy - At least 6 birds involved 12 April 11:20 - Several birds around - but no bird seen in hole.
