99 HAYDOCK 2000 MELANERPE FORMICIVORUS 1500 HASTINGS 31 MAY 12:00-4 babies largest about 10g. legg remaining. Looks like it could hatch. 19 Jure 10:20- Banded and bled 2 babies. Still plenty of acorns remaining. 2000 5 April 9:20- Two birds in traditional nest tree, Lots of acorns remaining - granary ~ 90-100% full. No evidence of a nest, 11 April 10:25- Bird in traditional nest hole. No bird seen in a hole 07 JUNE 12:40- Banded 4 nestlings with Walt. Lots of acorns remaining in granary. 2002 12 July 7:00- Checked for nesting. No birds seen in a hole, but see 1800 for new holes in Creek (below 1800, but not far from 1500). Birds Seen near those holes - could be 1500 or 1800 Birds.. 24 July 7:55- No birds seen in granary tree - Heard birds partway up bay stuck. Essentially no Acorns remaining in granary (may be). 4 Aug 10:35- No birds seen in a cavity.
