No evidence of a nest. 5 April 9:00- 3 birds seen in traditional nest tree. No bird seen in a hole. 11 April 10:05- Bird in hole - New hole in broken limb (with last years nest hole). Faces towards office. 13:35 Walt open hole. Finds 4 eggs - fresh. Incubated ① 25.0 x 21.0 ② 25.0 x 20.4 Several days into incubation. Tag #298 Blue oak. ENE (75°) Angle: 75° Height: 33 ft. Circumference: 7 hands (walt) Same limb as hole/nest from last year that broke and fell to ground - Hole in broken part of limb. 19 April 10:00- 4 babies. 1-2 days old. 8 MAY 10:00- Banded and bled 3 babies with Walt. ID #, 3163-3165 2001 10 JUNE 15:10 - checked for hatching. 3 babies - all healthy and may have hatched yesterday. 1 egg nearly hatched. 1 unhatched egg. ? Group Central Cañon
