At noon I took lunch with
Mr. Lamper head of Anthropology
at Marshall Fields restaurant
on 1st floor. Lamper has
been in Tibet west of Tachin
lee on the Thassa road but
was turned back by the
Chinese govt. He is a Tibetan
scholar & talks the language.
In the afternoon Becker took
me to the Adventurers Club
where I met the President
