29 Thanksgiving. The turkey dinner was served with decorations, paper streamers, paper balloons etc. 30 The last night out a red cross auction took place in the Saloon where cavalry dancing was interpersed. On Wednesday May 1, Glasgow's Romanian Red Cross commission sold for $200.00 by tickets. There were absurd dances. Futile, gale, trumpet & 45 WO. [illegible] was melted. Dec 1 We steamed to the Golden Gate at 7 AM. An anchor was destroyed for quarantine inspected
