This afternoon I had a visit to Mr. Francis Custer's Office at 40 Yamacluta chs Yokohama, His brother who is recently deceased collected natural history specimens by purchased from natives but failed to sell all of them at the time of his death, He at one time sold a lot of mammal from Hainam Island collected thereby a Japanese. The collection left consisted of several hundred pairs of snakes, lizards, turtles, corals, sea urchins, crust acea in principal + cases, 7 bird skins. These Custer is anxious to sell for the benefit of the widow who is in need of money. Custer knew of no local sportsmen who have hunted big game in Korea or Japan
