The horse market situated in a field near the Temple of Heaven is interesting. Here are to be seen many mongolian ponies for sale with being led about a large ring saddled ready to ride. The purchaser rides or buys some one ride the pony on a straight away course following the wall. The gait is always a fast even trot or single foot which gives the rider a steady sear seat. Rebbing cart horses are also offered strided out here. The baby carting a small cart set down solidly on the axles of the wheels which are about 3 feet in diameter + heart studded on the fellows with iron bolts.
