Bird did call from tree E of granary tree at roost time April 6 16:00 - [illegible] bird 16:00 - checked 2 holes in tree to E of granary tree. Nothing there. 18:30 - Roost watch. 2+ birds enter upper hole in tree I checked this afternoon. April 7 17:00 - Set ambush at upper hole in tree located 30 m E of granary tree. 18:30 - Roost witch. April 8 4:35 - Palled ambush - worked great. 5 birds in hole - but alas 2 got away as I was removing them. Got 2 unbanded. likely that 5th bird is unbanded (i.e. 3 unbanded in group) 2573 DBLUE / WHITE WHITE / METAL 2574 LT-GREEN / YELLOW RED / M April 18 11:50 - Nobody seen in a hole. 15May 9:30 - 3 birds flew from granary; Nobody seen in a hole. No acorns remaining. 13JUNE 9:30 - See m1? [2344]. One other bird also seen. Nobody seen in a hole 24JUNE 9:30 - Saw 1 bird but nobody in a hole. 10 Aug 15:50 - Checked holes - Nobody seen. 20 Sept. 10:15. No birds seen, no acorns in granary. Saw m/(mauve/black)? [illegible] seen in area between Blumb
