Removed Starling box (2) from territory. 17 April 7:30 checked several cavities - nobody answered 21 April 8:30 checked cavities in several trees: Nobody seen in holes. birds seen in southern most tree. 12 May. 9:15 Checked several cavities - Nobody seen in whole Birds seen in central part of territory, 18:30 Bird flew (from hole ?) from tree on South side of territory. 13 May 9:15 2 Birds in above tree. No birds seen in hole 7 June 8:15 1 birds seen in free on south side of terr. Some trees remain in granary. No birds seen in holes). 8 June. 10:00 - 11:300 bserved 2 indj both fairly inactive - did some fly catching, but do not appear to have g most. 14 June. 10;00 - Checked holes - nobody seen. 20 June. 10:00 - Checked holes - nobody seen - Some acorns remaining 16 July. 9:15 - Checked holes - nobody seen. - A few acorns remaining 14 August 8:20 - Checked holes - nobody seen in a hole, but bird my have flown from hole on south side of tree.- worth checking again. A few acorns still remain.
