96 J.HAYDAK MELANERPEs FORMICIVORUS 1800 HNHR 2 April 1:10 - One bird seen in main roost/prancy tree. Lots of acorns. Nobody seen in a hole. 19 April 13:00 - Placed 2 Feeders in main granary tree. Paired group (not supplemented) is School Hill. Both Feeders filled to top before putting in place. (Paired with School Hill as non-supplemented control) 10 MAY 10:15 - 3eggs - fresh 25.8x18.75 15 MAY 8:45 - Still just 3eggs. Incubated. 23 MAY 13:00 - 2 babies; 23g, 17g. No eggs remaining 11 JUNE 14:45 - Banded 2 healthy and big babies. Perhaps they are big and healthy because they are being supplemented with dog food. They also still have some acorns remaining, 19 August 16:29 - 3 eggs. Mid incubation. = 26.2x18.25 23 August - all gone.
