1995
1 April 11:35 - Plenty of stores. Saw no birds.
17 April 11:40 - Checked holes - nobody seen.
23 April 17:00 - Decided to try removal experiment in this
group. Will be removing Bf - to promote replacement
and to create group with co-brooding B's. After
climbing tree to set ambush, I discover 1 egg
(unincubated) and decide not to set ambush. After
talking with Walt we decide to delay removal. Part
of the problem is that Tim reported 6 birds
roasted here last night (less than on field list)
so we are not completely sure what group
composition is. Tim will observe tomorrow
to determine: ① if female lays another egg ②
identity of all birds in group
24 April 10:30 - 3 eggs, cool. Set ambush for catching 9
when she enters nest tomorrow after egg laying.
