April 17 7:34 Checked cavities- 2 birds left tree as I approached no am. No answer to "hello". Some stores remaining April 21 8:20 Bird in hole (?) (left tree at hole height as I walk around) One other, nd. in tree. In branch facing down Cation, hole faces SW. 10 May 12:30 Nest failed - no eggs or nestlings 12 May 9:30 2 bird flew from tree - but I did not see anybody fly from a hole. Climbed up and found 2 eggs! A new nest?? 14 May 11:30 4 eggs now! ① 24.0 x 19.2 ③ 25.0 x 19.8 ② 23.9 x 19.7 ④ 24.1 x 18.8 14 August 8:10 - Checked holes, nobody seen, no stores of acorns remain in this years nest tree, 1995. 1 April 9:10 - checked holes - saw nobody. 18 April 12:00. Nobody seen in a hole. 23 April 2:30- 5 eggs, 2 developing; 3 no development Measured 1 egg: 25.6 x 20.1 28 April (pm) 5 eggs - checked by Walt: (Bird in hole, May 2 [illegible] ; [illegible] .
