97 J. HAYDECK 98 MELANERPE FORMICIVORUS CAVITY HNHR 9 April 17:30 - Transferred plague nestling into group to force a renest by plague. Cavity now has 4 babies 20 April 10:00 - Removed all 4 nestlings and replaced them with eggs to attempt to make the &B egg loss. (for National Geographic Film crew). Took blood samples from the 4 nestlings. Returned them to nest after visits. 10 July 7:15 - 3 babies - 58-37g. All look healthy. Same hole as 1st nest. 16 July 13:30 - Banded 3 nestlings 54-64g - look healthy #'s 2939-2941 1998 6 MAY 11:15 - 4 eggs, well incubated. (LED ifia) 16 MAY 16:20 - Removed 2 babies to force renest. # 2973 ~ 30 g; Red-L-blue - Moved to Stromberg. # 2974 ~ 30 g; D-blue-white - Moved to Burkoge. No eggs remaining in nest. 1999 6 April 9:25 - No birds seen. No evidence of a nest 21 May 12:00 - Banded & bled 3 babies with Deborah # 3066-3068
