Lots of acorns remaining in main granary, 20 April 12:10 - No birds seen. 2 MAY 11:15 - No body seen in a hole 5 MAY 9:45 - Bird in hole!! Underside of dead limb that needs ladder to check 6 MAY 10:00 - 5 eggs (?) difficult to reach. Fresh; poss. laying. 24.85X 19.60 17 MAY 11:35 - 2 EGGS COLD: A BAD (PARTIALLY DEVELOPED?) 2 BIRDS => 20g, 15g 22 MAY 17:30 - 2 nestlings; added 2 more from PLATQUE (① 23.35 X 19.95 ② 25.55X 20.65) -> (Measured eggs that did not hatch.) <- 4 JUNE 11:00 - Bonded 4 nestlings with Walt - so they all made it - The 2 CAZ babies plus the transfers from PLATQUE 7 JUNE 12:00 - Arrive to find nestling still alive that LISA had found at 11:00 on ground below nest. It was bird 2672. Opened nest and found 2 live nestlings and nestling 2685 dead in nest (no apparent reason for its death). Put 2672 back in nest. 19 July 7:55 - 2 birds flew from granary. A few, (very few) white acorns remaining in granary. 16 August 12:00 Nobody seen in a hole.
