Did not see any birds go in a hole; but used flashlight to find a bird looking out of a hole at the top of a broken off limb (only about 20cm in diameter) in forest to Southot nest tree. 15 Aug 19:35 - Roost Watch- 3 birds leave hole - 1 returns - So could be 3 birds in hole - will try ambush (with pole) 16 Aug 5:00 - Ambush works, but only 1 bird in hole [2443] 17 Aug 19:15 - Mike reports 2 birds go in hole to SW of grammy tree. Will try pole ambush 18 Aug 5:00 - Ambush successful, but both birds banded. [2083], [2440] - bled/took DNA from both. 24 Aug 5:00 - Ambush again at the same hole.
