April 20 16:30 - Nobody seen in last years rest hole.
Apr. 122 17:00 - Set ambush to catch breeders for painting
(want to do mate guarding observations)
April 22 19:15 - One bird goes in upper hole; 4 others in
lower hole. I decided to delay ambush because
of slight suspicion that there may be eggs in
upper hole (I could not reach the bottom, but hole
looked poor for nesting since it did not have flat
bottom)
April 23 18:00 reset both ambushers to try again - Checked
both cavities for eggs (with mirror) - No eggs
April 24 5:00 - Yes caught just the birds I wanted - the
single female breeder plus the 3 male breeders.
♀ 1026 - green
♂ 1027 - L blue / D blue
♀ 1212 - yellow
♂ 1222 - reddish-orange
