No evidence of nesting. 23 June. 19:30 Attempt math to observe who is roosting - Too close, I am scaring them away - will try again. 28 June 19:30. Mosquitoes!! Tried to determine which 7 roosted- Nobody went to roost 17 July 18:40- Plenty of acorns. Nobody seen. 1995 31 MAR. 11:05 - No bird seen in a hole. Lots of acorns, saw several birds - Also saw a couple of birds on N. side of road. 21 April 3:30 - Watt observed 2 birds leave new hole-checks 31 MAY 9:15 - Nest ambush set for attempt to catch birds for DNA/blood. Need blood from 1222, 1027, 1212, 2034, 1026 (listed in order of importance.. 11:45 - End attempt. I was able to catch and take blood from 1027. I am fairly sure I saw 1222, but he did not enter the hole (possible that I got [illegible] confused 2762 as 1222. (June. 8:45 - Another attempt to catch 1222 - Yes - caught him and took blood. I will now try to catch 1212 or 2034. - Yes caught 2034. 11:00 - End @ observations.
