Cavity in tree on cast side of territory 5 babies 4-5d old (School hill "C" nest hole) 16:45 checked other holes in terr, no answer 23 June 10:00 Checked several holes for renesting attempt, Nobody found. Block has fallen from nest hole for this year 27 June 18:00-19:00 Observed for evidence of renesting D Bine//green m / red-white [238] In tree on westside, foraying Adult? In one of the trees in enclosure. 28 June 9:00 - Replaced blocks from nest hole. - Began Observations for renesting attempt. 9:00-10:30 seen. 29 June 7:15 checked several holes in trees in enclosure- nobody seen. 14 July 10:40 Checked several holes - nobody seen 15 July 9:40 -Checked most holes in territory. no bird seen in a hole. 2 birds flew from tree in enclosure. 3 Aug 19:30. Roost watch. I heard at least one bird to NW of enclosure, this individual flew to tree in enclosure that Mary was watching. Mary reports 10! birds roosted in this tree (located on west side of enclosure). Mike reports 1 bird went to roost in tree to SE (this years nest hole). 4 Aug 16:30 Set ambush at this years nest tree, Walt set ambush at tree in enclosure. We hope to catch unb juveniles.
