97 Haydock MELANERPIES FORMICIVORUS R3 HNHR 21 April 12:10 - 5 eggs, incubated - should hatch soon. One of the eggs is a runt egg ① 20.3 x 14.8 (taken out) ② 26.2 x 19.3 27 April 11:30 - 4 babies; no eggs remaining; largest baby 13.5 grams All about the same size, so they should all survive. 15 MAY No birds seen in a hole 30 June 6:30 - No birds seen in any hole but several birds seen in lower nest tree. A few acorns remaining in lower nest tree / granary. 12 July 7:00 - A missed nest! Nestling looking out of hole. Look ready to fledge. 11:00 - Climbed to hole - No babies left, but it was certainly another nest. They must have fledged in the last 4 hours.
