Bird in hole when we arrived, (2nd nest in same hole as 1st spring nest) 27 MAY 16:30 - 4 babies 19, 17, 17, 6g. 2 eggs (infertile) Took both eggs. Small baby look healthy and seems to have been fed. 13 June 8:40 - Banded and bled 3 healthy babies w/ May. 1998 MAY 18 12:30- No birds seen in a hole. They don't have a second nest yet. Since it seems possible they will, male guarding observations should be done on this group. MAY 19 10:00 - One fresh egg. Same hole as first nest. JUNE 4 14:40- 3 babies - No eggs. (There were 4, but Walt took one) Largest baby is 11.5g. JUNE 22 12:50 - Banded
