HAYDOCK 98 MELANERPEs FORMICIVORUS BUCKEYE HNHR 22 April 10:10 - No birds seen anywhere. 18 MAY 15:20 - Banded and bled 3 healthy happy nestlings! #2826-2828 1998 7 MAY 14:00 - Can hear very small babies (<3d old) No bird seen. Lower hole in nest tree above granary. 9 MAY 14:30 - 4 babies; largest 14.5g. (so hatched on about 6 MAY), One baby about 8g; the others about the size of the largest. 16 MAY 17:30 - Moved baby ID 2974 from cavity to here. 3 other healthy babies in nest - All about the same size as cavity baby. Cavity bird has a D-blue-white band on its right leg. 30 MAY 9:40 - Banded 4 babies. Acorns stores remaining.
