But some times they traveled all the way over to the W side of terr, as well as down to LPHE trees abv the road. Saw [illegible] ? (1962) 2males seen, but unable to ID either (prexamb. 1962-? 2076) 16 MAY 12:30 - 5eggs - incubated. ①- 20 MAY 2:30 - 3 babies, 2 eggs; largest baby 12.5g. both eggs 6 June 1:45. - 3 dead babies - died recently (within lastday) All heads/brains eaten by something- Looks gruesome. 6 July 10:30 - 2 babies - each ~13g. No eggs remaining. Lots of acorns remaining 1998 11 MAY 10'50 - 4eggs. Early incubation. Ø 25.3 x 19.8 Lots of acorns remaining. 16 MAY 12:45 - checked lower PHE for birds in holes - Nobody seen. 21 MAY 13:20 - 4 babies (largest one is 15.5g - 3½? 0.04 7 June 12:30 - Banded 3 babies, all healthy. #3026-3028 Some acorns remaining. 10 July 12:30 - Some acorns remaining. No birds seen. Apparently no 2nd nest. 1999 7 June 14:00 - 4 babies and 1 egg (Prob will not hatch) Largest baby about 30g, 1 is only about 15g
