94 HAYDOCK JOSEPH MELANERPEs FORMICIVOROUS OK CORRAL 8 June 16:00 Ind. flew from main granary up canon about 400-500 m'. Started to fly back but I lost track of him/her, 16:20 End obs. Checked tree 200m N of main gramary-one yucky hole-but worth checking ?? 10 June 10:15-11:15 Birds spending most of their time in bottom of canon near large sycamore. I was not observing from where I could see this tree, but no evidence of nesting (i.e. carrying food) was observed, 14 June 10:50 - checked holes - nobody seen - some stones remaining in both granary trees. 30 June 10:55 Hello at several holes brought no response 16 July 9:30 - Checked holes in trees on both hillsides - No body seen. Some stones remaining 14 Aug. 9:00 - Nobody seen in a hole. 50% of main granary has fallen. (with a few acorns remaining). Still a few acorns remain in what remains of granary trees.
