76 J. HAYDOCK MELANERPEs FORMICIvORUS MURE HNHR April 18 11:30 - No acorns. One female seen in lower granary tree. Nobody seen in a hole. April 17 15:00- Put up two feeders; one in nest free located higher on hill; the other in dead granary tree lower down on hill side. No birds seen, but heard some birds towards CVL. Lisa & Joshua have reported that CVL/MURF birds (the few remaining) seem to be a group. April 19 15:00 - Took down feeders and decided to use Los Urbalitos as supplemental group. Too many Crows/Magpies at MURE - Both Feeders empty. 12 August 8:35- No birds seen. No new acorns.
