HAYDOCK MELANERPIDES FORMICIVORUS Los ARBOLITOS HNHR April 3 9:15 - Checked nest hole from last year - no birds seen: April 14 12:00 - Checked nest hole - No birds seen 15 April 12:15 - Bird in hole - checked - No eggs, but ready (6 April 15:30 - Still no eggs. (No bird in hole when I arrived) 23 April 14:30 - 3 eggs now - fresh; bird in hole when I arrived. 26 April 15:30 - 4 eggs - Bird in hole. 25.15 x 19.8 6 MAY 15:30 - 4 babies, all about the same size (5-6g range) 27 May 15:30 - 4 babies handled - all healthy and happy # 2854-2857. 5 July 9:15 - Nobody seen in a hole; Saw adults fledgling in granary tree; Plenty of acorns remaining. That hole in this tree again soon - it look good.
