[2095]. Set ambush, but nobody returned to roost. 14 Aug 10:05 - fixed ambush so that it could not fall. Will try again in a few days. 1995 1 April 10:50 - No birds seen in a hole. 17 April 11:20 Nobody seen in a hole. Good supply of acorns in granary by road. 27 April (PM) Charred hole - Nobody seen. 6 May 12:15 - 2 eggs - Not incubated; cool. Saw bird fly from near/in hole as I approached. 9 May 15:15 Seggs - Warm, bird flew from hole. 12 May 14:30 Seggs - Warm. Measured①: 24.9x18.7 11 June 14:30 Banded/bird 3 nestlings, Some acorns in granary locked along road.
