compare with Chemult. In many ways the lower zongy red are like those on Pines at 800'. They are not like the Cirrus at Mammoth or from that north. Also there is fine narrow brush for Sparrows are lacking along with Green Tups. Who for sparrows should be in the manganita at 500' on the east side and not here I don't know. Blocks Oaks and the Cassia Vines are near camp. The forest of Piny pine is very fine and the streams are nice. Harold caught the limit of small fish today. wm aug 18/ Spent the day about camp
