Spent all day
frying grasshoppers
and others on lake
Did little else. Saw Nighthawk
punched flat this day at

Went Fishing all morning
with ben Daddy but
he was not a good fisherman
had any luck
Aug 4
Found sick Clark Crow
on beach and caught
finally did about noon
and made a fine specimen
Heard horned Owl start
up at 5:55 without
still up.
Aug 5
Took Miss Papell out at
7 Am. had a very profitable
