June 10. 1928. Dix, Evelyn, myself & the Fiddler went out about 1 o'clock. We drove up past the farm and to Great Falls when the right-seed c while then we went on up past Frostville and Dranesville, and within 11 miles of Keenbryg. As the road was bad and getting worse, we turned west to Thurston, and then out to the main state and came back by way of Arlington. Stopped awhile at Hoover Field and watched some flying.
