Thursday Sept. 10. Breakfast at Valley about Hobart and left after an hour or two went on to Cortona which are Nooks chaly, after 11 A.M. Stopped here until 7 P.M. Walked on on and going to the Passengers for the trip to Copper River on the train. We walked up to the town at 7 a.m. and took over plotted the day was clear and very warm in the afternoon The Buffalo lies at anchor in harbor. Left at 7 P.M. Friday Sept. 11. To Cran Dount. Airman out of sight of land all day, It rained and blew a gale and was cold, but the ship does not roll much. Saturday Sept.12 arrived at Skagway left town and boarded until 2 AM.
