Thursday, September 3 We passed Shihaldon Volcanos between 6 & 7 vehicles. Then we went past Staten and then between Deer Island and Thin Point. Then between Dalgoi and Ki-marland. We passed Parley Volcanos about noon and saw a party of Bay had it in right nearly, and the afternoon There were few birds in the water. The day was mostly clear and arched a fine view of Parley, a considerable quantity of plank to coming from it. For several minutes yet, a quail, of clouds they are it [illegible] [illegible] Zupudini 6 years [illegible] Captain Dodge tells me that there are hundreds of Sea Gulls on Lightstone Rocks, and many on Palomni Rock in Lennak Ross. Many on Boggsland and on Byrdler Island seen land it's on Seaton Rocks near Amak In. Friday Sept. 4. We passed the Semidi Islands, on some of which are blue frosts abhorred from St. George. Early in the afternoon some drizzle day. Passed Christo Island at 3 P.M. It is stocked with blue frosts also from St George. A man stays here during the entire year and in the winters second stay to trap the animals. Some many glorious-winged pilots, a few albatrosses and puffins. Fulmars were common, smaller the gannish ones, but a few spots and a few nearby land white Albatross St George.
