Aug 4. Jepolmin In the afternoon we went out to Jepolmin in the hills and counted the population. Mr. Sharma told us that he had found a small hunting ground about a mile east of Jepolmin this morning. When there it used to be a regular hunting ground and many peas were killed there. We fired 2 bullets but apparently no cows. Samcup We started to go over the hills along shore to Gourde Cove, but as fogford was such we gave up the idea and cut across to strike the line near the village. We finally struck it about a mile out. The day was unusually fine until 2nd afternoon. Espgood, Hanna, and I made the trip to Jepolmin, while Pastor Oklahoma and Harmons conducted Starga until 1 North
