Dora, July 26 Rainy all day. St. Jones went about the ablation, and the left. Monday July 27 Clear in very early morning but cloudy. Somewhat foggy at breakfast time. Meanwhile both my all other trips which he has been on to a dwelling stay for sometime made up one which was in poor shape. About 11 o'clock. The Tahamans took us in a boat. As we, as the Captain thought it suitable to take lee by Otter Island. We had Dinner on board with the crew and on arriving started at once for the landing place. We landed in a little cove on the surf. We practically went around the side with some pictures. There were many petrifiedes (both kinds), but tell me, some, some Fulmar, both puffins many parrot arnolds and a few barn owls. A few very fishes on the upper part of the island. Down an old broken skull near the little pond. About a dozen seals were on the rocks near the landing place. On an isolated rock near the high- part of the island. Estimated 12000 buds on this rock.
