Ref monday, has abrode 165 bulls Use Mount a few minutes on the path home, and watched the nation take some buttery shots from the Kerch, and pile them on the "bush" Thursday June 27 In the forenoon went over to Kitovi with the Movie Camera. We have two large bull weakens on the rocks. Mr Thompson took a movie of the large bull getting with the water. His movements were slow and labored. This was just done on Kitovi. Wasted a few feet of film by test all camera failed for practice. Harmon counted 146 bulls & 24 cows (1714 acres) 19 pups Whitney + Parker a born with 100 bulls. 148 cows (45 acres) 41 pups Early afternoon all flew went over to Talaladi Battery. Mr Whitney counted the 6 bulls and Karems on both batteries and found 122 bulls Ozford out I took quite a series of movie pictures of a karem with about a dozen cows. During a temporary absence of the bull a cow over came up from the water and entered the karem. The other cows greeted her by moaning and biting. When the master turned and saw the newcomer he rushed through the karem to the cow, but as he reached her she broke away and went into the water. He did not attempt to detain her, and paid no more attention to her. A bull near by with only one cow seemed sleepy and paid no attention to the large karem even when at mos practically unguarded. We went onto the Kaulau ground and set up our Cameras at the pond of the small cliff atop the lower part of the mass
