Sheep are found about the head of Buffalo. They winter about the head of the Shoshone, and the head of Crow River. A buffalo bull came down from the park and rotted on the Buffalo Plateau at the head of the South Fork of Buffalos in 1908-1909. The same time in October of 1909. More winter in the same place A bull elk killed for its tusk in the Hills near McBrates a week ago or so that had new horns about 5 inches long. (McBride) R.H. Ohl tells me that he saw a young calf with near the Buffalo near Evalls Place June 2.
