78 13 miles Friday Sept. 2 To Atty-Chica Creeks The horses had gone back a long way and show [illegible] when we got started. We made our way southward along the hill side, about 2 miles from Thithade Lake. We found Robertson Trail at intervals and reached Atty-chick creek at its junction with Kenee Creek shortly after noon. We ascended the forma on the west side following an Indian trail which was well blazed and fairly good for horses [illegible] just before dark about 16 miles Saturday. Sept. 3. Atty-chica Creeks We started at 1,30 and made our way up Atty-chica Creek. The trail followed the North side, sometimes close to the stream but usually on the bordering ridges and went through brush. We camped near a lake just above the fork of Attyphica Creek with another fording apparently [illegible] from Robertson Trail which we had followed all day. (Later looked up his trail which was on the hillside above our camp.)
