1907 West Virginia Trip to West Virginia Springs West VA. The Biological Survey was requested to make the trip by President Theodore Roosevelt, to investigate a report that a flock of passenger pigeons had been seen in the fall by several persons. Everyone whose name was involved, as who could be found was interviewed and a report was sent to the White House.
