Wrigley passed us at 12.30 in the night 4. Between Wrigley and this Trent the right bank is usually high but after passing here the left bank is usually higher and the right bank came paritly low, 12 or 15 miles below the Rocks we passed the mouth of a small stream entering from the right having dark waters, and Mr. camped a short distance below here at 9 P.M. Day 9 Got a good start and a fine day, and made good progress. Bunn's Contour Faults low nearly to Blackwater which we reached about 3.17 p.m. great quantities of ice seen midstream both shores & about same point Across the river from this mouthly the Blackwater a little below more than two houses whims some Kandahars pass the winter 19849. We ammied them and I took Photos of them. Several geological hammer and similar articles has been abandoned, as the party returned up the river to Ballooney Spring. Just below here the river makes a sharp bend to the left and the right bank is very high then it turns back again. A few miles below here The Dahalenne enters from the left And there is a broad stretch of willows crossed country
