The Day was rather rainy lunch a mile or two beyond Stoney Creek observed Red & black chermes Vihurn James [illegible] de leaves now Bright Scarlet blackberry Half-way House 9 miles now rope and [illegible] Coral berry Custelliga Alnus alnobola (kum) Alnus incana less often) Black & white Spruce Tamarack White herri & symphonies Camomile, Crocus canad (Cerinus rope) camom Black Stopped for my Catt at Lily Lake Sunday Sept 4 Left Lily Lake early and [illegible] Then no considerable run in the night but it did not rain any in the day and finally cleared Walked from 5 miles of 7 Sturgeon friendly 6 from Edmonton Reached Edm. at 7 pm and put up at the Alberta which has her built & my Catt Stay here
