mor started on August 2. We left the "wood up" place about 4 A.M. and steamed steadily up the main all day. During the early part of the day the banks passed were other hot. Later clay banks began ouches appear. We passed Point "Enniguel" about 3 P.M. Tanked a number of photos of Characteristic spots on each side of the river, and soon afterwards the River Lenders August 3. We rounded the Grand Detour about 9 A.M. and arrived at Ford Smith about 1 P.M. We put out some Traps to secure a few specimens as we cannot cross the Fratage to Smith Landing until Monday. August 4. Fork only a small Catch of Eortomps Enthemias & Beromyceus. Did some packing of specimens & baggage for far story to Crossing to Smith Landing with a Telecan swimming down the river near the boat. Aug. 5. We took up our Traps securing a few mammals and left Fork Smith about 9 A.M. to cross lowing to Smith Landing. Saw 3 mallards in a small pond halfway across. We arrived at Smith Landing at 3 P.M. and took up our presence on the S.S. Graham, by which we will travel to Ford McMurray. Found the box of specimens which Mr. Camell (Or girl) took them in charge as the boat will not leave beforel tomorrow. In any case we put out a good run of traps Aug 6. Took several Eortomps. Parvenges of Erehomias and made them up. The Steenes left Smith Land in the afternoon and after processing a shoot dis ation stuffed to wood up. and at dark fixed up at
