June 26. Took one M.Xanthopthue 4 Phinacomp and a number 2 Contomp of both phases and Emerotive. Reset a long line of Traps in line of woods bordering Marshy pond where we have Taken Phinacomp observed Mallard with young about a week old. Took Piocoides cam... Tennessee Warbler young spruce grouse. I yellow wabes. The Steamer Graham supposed to reach Smith Landing shrults June 6. Has not git came and the not I saw supplies expected on her not coming has made us short of stuffing. Our cotton being about gone we have been obliged for a bank a wish to stuff our specimens with moss which we obtain from pguanils nests We are also getting short of Traps and our gun shells are about exhausted - or the arrival of the boat is anxiously looked for June 27. Took a large catch of Mammals including my Bobit Merutius- Eustomy Phenar- Comp etc. My brother found another nest of the Tennessee Warbler containing 5 fried Eggs. We tried to shoot the ? but she was lost and was not seen again so I took the nest for Jear something named Choppin to it June 28. A good catch of mammilds Received our mail and chest with supplies of traps Cotton etc. If nothing happens to prevent will start down the river tom彼得. Had a talk with Mr. Rae on change of Mr. Rae and he tells me that I can easily go there and work and he picked up by the steamers on his return from the Humber River Wrote letters in the evening
